About us:

The Villager and Town Life magazines began as the brain-child of local family man, Nigel Frost.

After 15 years working in media and communications, Nigel developed the concept of a small, friendly magazine aimed at encouraging local people to use local businesses.

As a resident of Potton I have seen small businesses both flourishing and then begin to struggle as larger, chain shops moved into our town. Local services were threatened and the sense of community about the place began to suffer. I wanted to act, and I needed to do so quickly; the result was The Villager.
